During the third quarter of 2023, the leading navigation and maps apps on iOS in Slovakia demonstrated diverse performance trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Sensor Tower data provides an in-depth look at these metrics.

Google Maps saw a mixed trend in downloads, starting at around 4K at the end of June and reaching a peak of approximately 5.4K in mid-July. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to nearly 3K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 208K and 230K, showing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a modest increase in downloads initially, peaking at about 1.9K in mid-July before gradually declining to around 1.2K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users varied between 60K and 66K, maintaining a consistent user base throughout the quarter.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation had a stable download trend, with numbers ranging from about 1K to 1.3K. However, there was a noticeable drop to approximately 830 by the end of September. Weekly active users hovered around 3.5K to 3.7K, showing minimal fluctuations over the quarter.

Adventurer: Hike & Explore showed a significant revenue spike, particularly towards the end of August, escalating from around $7 to over $150 in mid-September. Downloads witnessed a sharp decline from 1K in late July to just 16 in early September, with a slight recovery to around 160 by the end of the month.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps generated substantial revenue, peaking at over $6.3K in mid-July and gradually decreasing to approximately $1.5K by the end of September. Downloads were relatively low, ranging from about 200 to 700, with a downward trend towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users ranged from around 800 to 1.2K, showing a slight decline over the period.
